Welcome to Forest Children’s Day Nursery in Chippenham.

Our nursery is a warm, friendly, and welcoming nursery for babies and children from six weeks old until they go to school.

Our location creates the perfect environment for children to learn, explore and play – indoors and out.

We provide an excellent level of childcare in a safe, nurturing environment and offer bespoke childcare packages that meet the individual needs of each family that we work alongside.

We understand that not every job is a 9-5, which is why we pride ourselves on being a family orientated nursery.

Children love adventures. They love new challenges, trying new things, making new friends, learning new skills and receiving positive feedback from all of our staff. We want all of our children to be empowered, to be challenged, be praised and above all to be happy!

Our Team

We are committed to providing the very best care and education for all our children, and we could not do this without having a dedicated, enthusiastic, and highly qualified team who help to make every day magical. All of our staff are first aid trained and have a level 2 hygiene certificate.

Learning is FUN!

Learning in the yearly years is hugely important but it has to be FUN! Thats why we place great importance on learning through exploration, sensory play and with our friends.

Working Together

At Forest Nursery & Pre-school we understand the responsibility and privilege it is to care for the most precious thing in your life, your child. We value being your partner in the care, education, and social wellbeing of your child.

Healthy Food

Our delicious and healthy meals are all cooked on site from the freshest ingredients we can find.
Mealtimes are also fun, where children learn social skills by eating together, sharing together and helping each other.

• My daughter has been attending Forest Nursery for a year now, she has learned so much and come so far in the past year it amazes me. She is so clever, so happy and so content there! The staff are amazing, they show such an invested interest in every child! They make it their absolute priority to ensure the children learn, but also have fun. • When we moved to the area, we visited many nurseries but as soon as we visited Forest Nursery and met Amy and her team, we knew we didn't need to look any further. My son is excited and happy to go to nursery every day which to me speaks volumes! All the staff are kind, caring and patient and regularly go above and beyond to ensure my son is comfortable and happy. The daily handover is very thorough and they also use an online diary and learning journey. There is always a great range of activities on offer, the outdoor area is used every day and there are regular events throughout the year e.g. Christmas Party. Everything is included in the fees, including lovely food cooked onsite, which makes it very easy for busy working parents. I always feel relaxed dropping my son off there as I know he will be well looked after and have lots of fun!

• I always thought I was looking for a childminder, but stepping into Forrest Nursery my mind was instantly changed. My daughter instantly fell in love with Amy and has since fallen for the other caregivers here. She has learned so much, her speech is brilliant, she does different things each day and always eats all of her food. (Why can’t it be like that at home?) Not only are the staff brilliant with my daughter, the nursery are flexible, always happy to help and everyone is super friendly. I 100% recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere to look after their child. I thought it would be scary leaving my daughter in someone else’s care, but that feeling quickly disappeared. • I chose forest nursery for my children because I could see from my viewing the happiness of all the children within the setting and how knowledgeable the staff were.
