Meet the Team
The team at Forest Nursery and Preschool never stands still because we know that the children will not – literally.
Therefore, we are continually developing our activities to keep your child on their toes, physically and mentally – as they keep us on ours!

As the owner of our nursery and preschool, I bring with me the experiences of growing up in a military family, moving often, and learning the value of community and support wherever we went.
I strongly believe that it truly takes a village to raise a child, and I’ve built our nursery on that principle. Each family here is a valued part of our community, and we work together to create a safe, loving environment where every child feels they belong.
My goal is to offer a place where both children and parents feel supported and connected, knowing they have a team beside them through the ups and downs of early childhood. Watching children grow, learn, and thrive in this environment is a joy, and I'm honoured to be part of each family’s journey.

As the manager of our nursery and preschool, I truly love the role because I get to see first-hand the positive impact we make on children and their families.
Both of my own children have attended, and one is still here, so I understand deeply the trust parents place in us. It’s incredibly fulfilling to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. I take pride in supporting our talented team of educators, helping them grow while ensuring they have the resources to provide the best care and education. I'm always available for advice, top tips, or just a general chit-chat about parenting and the adventure we are all on together.
Building strong relationships with families and watching children flourish day by day makes each day a rewarding experience.

I work as part of the nursery team in the Maple room, where I love encouraging the children to get on their feet, dance, and dive into messy play. I’m always eager to create a fun, engaging environment that supports their development through movement and creativity. Before joining the nursery team, I gained valuable one-to-one experience working as a babysitter, which helped shape my nurturing and hands-on approach.
A fun fact about me is that my favourite colour is orange, it matches my bright and energetic personality! Outside of work, my biggest passion is cooking and baking, something I’ve loved doing since I was just three years old.

I have been employed at Forest Nursery and Preschool since April of this year, following two years of work placement at the setting while completing my Level 3 qualification through college.
I thoroughly enjoy working in the TreeTop room, particularly engaging the children in active, energetic starts to their day through movement and dance. I also love supporting outdoor play, whether it’s helping children safely navigate climbing equipment or organizing races in the preschool garden, I’m always eager to encourage active exploration and physical development.
I am passionate about continuous learning and have recently begun developing my skills in Makaton to support inclusive communication. Additionally, I’ve learned how to style "princess hair" for the preschoolers each morning—something they look forward to and enjoy.
Outside of work, I am actively involved in teaching kickboxing to children, which allows me to combine my passion for physical fitness with my enthusiasm for working with young people. I myself train 4 days in a week!
